Around 11 in the morning Erin slowly begins to wake up, opening her eyes to the back of Jessica's head. Sometime in the night Erin curled up around her friend like a cat. She rolls over to look up at the roof of the room and lets out a low, long yawn. Rolling out of bed, Erin walks over to Jessica's closet while rubbing her eyes. She rumbles through the space, until she can find something comfortable to wear like a sweatshirt or pajama outfit. After finding something close to that and running her hands over it Erin begins to think to herself.

This is comfy... Her still sleeping mind is only half functioning but it is able to pick out the texture of Jessica's clothing. Maybe I should try clothing again...

Sneaking a quick look around to make sure no one is watching, Erin shifts out of her organic clothing and puts on the clothing she found in Jessica's closet. Turning around, she unconsciously attempts to fly out of the room but lacking the ability to fly falls flat on her ass.

Pouting, Erin stands up and brushes herself off.

At 3 AM Volker's eyes shoot open. He does not scream, but under the layer of darkness his face is full of fear and he is covered in a cold sweat. More night terrors. It's getting worse. Despite the suddenness of his awakening, he does not feel tired. He stands up, puts on his robes and walks out of the room, shutting the door as quietly as possible so as not to wake anyone.

He walks along the corridor slowly and quietly, but with purpose. He takes in the sounds normally masked by the presence of other waking individuals and enjoys the near silence. As he reaches the exit out into the main church, he stops for a moment. Now where was that switch? Ah, there. He activates the door mechanism and ascends into the former church.

The air is calm, and quiet, almost peaceful. Moonlight streams through the boarded up windows, casting long elegant shadows across the empty hall. He walks forward and stands near the center of the grand entry hall, taking in the moment and allowing himself to relax. It is here, in the cool night air, that he thinks best and is able to clear his mind of idle thoughts. He sits down in a moonbeam and begins to put his mind towards more productive thoughts than the past.

Pushing herself off the floor, a thought strikes into Erin's mind. The knife around her belt starts to hum a little and she withdraws it, turning the blade over in her hands.

Its... beautiful... the green of the runes on it... She thinks to herself. Then words seem to flow from the blade into her head; and a smile breaks across her face. Erin can't quite describe the words herself, but they feel happy. She begins to silently speak them; not quite understanding what they are but going along anyways. Then a whisper breaks from under her breath "I am lonely where ever I go.."

She looks down at the blade, traces the runes with her fingers then looks up towards the roof and starts to sing. "Sanctuary is all that I know. And I dream, of the sky... broken clouds... drifting by... And I dream of the sky... my Utopian lie."

[Kindulas]

Jessica bolts awake, removes her hand and points her loaded wrist at Erin. "Who- oh," Jess relaxes, "Erin, hi... um, were you singing?"

[Nehiel Mori]

Erin nods happily. "I also borrowed some of your clothing, if you don't mind. Ahem."

"You built up your heeeaven... on the back of hell..."

[Kindulas]

Jess just listens to Erin singing

Erin blushes somewhat at Jess's attention; but calms her nerves and begins to sing.

"Where did you learn that?"

[Nehiel Mori]

Erin turns the knife carefully around in her hands. "I... I don't know... the words just kinda came through the knife into my head."

[Kindulas]

"Do you have any idea whose knife that is? Sebastian seemed to know."

[Nehiel Mori]

Erin continues to look at the knife thoughtfully.

Suddenly Images flash through her mind; of Simic incubation chambers and a tall man with green eyes holding a clipboard. Then fighting, shouting, a fire... The man is yelling again at her and his knife is in his hands, coated in blood.

Erin drops to the floor still holding the knife, as more broken memories flood her view.

A blast of green and black energy flies off the mans hands; causing the walls of one of the simic chambers to degrade away. Erin is pushed out of it; and the man can be seen yelling at her and pointing in a direction. Then her mind blanks again; except for the image of a eye in the middle of spidery legs.

Sweating from the mental assault, Erin looks up at Jessica and croaks out "I... I think it belonged to the man that released me from the simic chambers..."

[Kindulas]

Jessica runs over to Erin with she drops to the ground and puts a a hand on her shoulder. After Erin speaks again, she responds, "So someone broke you out too, huh? We seem to have more and more in common..."

[Nehiel Mori]

"Yeah..." Erin says sheepishly, then reaches up and bear hugs Jessica.

[Kindulas]

*hugs*

[Nehiel Mori]

After a prolonged moment, Erin pulls away from the hug and looks at Jessica.

"Hey Jess... I'm hungry again!" She says with a smile and bounces back up to her feet. "Also, could I get you to make me something? All the things you make are so cool; I want a cool thing!"

[Kindulas]

"heh, you bounce back fast. Sure, let's get something to eat. And then, do you want a toy or... more of a weapon?"

[Nehiel Mori]

"Can I get a jetpack! Or perhaps a muffin button... I already have a weapon. A endless food creator ((that gains me a pip a turn as long as I am under 4 pips)) would be cool!" Erin stands up and points to the roof "I WANT ALL THE CUPCAKES!"

[Kindulas]

"If I could create an endless food creator, that would solve a lot of problems in the world - but it really can't be done... a jetpack I might be able to do. It's probably a bad idea to cyberize you since you need to have full manipulation of your self-mass. Still working on reverse engineering myself anyway, but I could probably create an electrical amulet that would revitalize you some when you start to wear out in battle."

[Nehiel Mori]

Pouting, Erin frowns and says "No cupcakes? Awww." She then coughs, straightens up and says "do you want to reverse engineer me?" With a matter of fact voice.

[Jentaru]

Olnar sits in the kitchen his eyes blood shot and droopy. In front of him a steaming mug of brown liquid sits cooling as he rubs the sleep from his eyes. His dreams were a battleground and he had fought for his life awakening seemingly more tired than when he had slept.

[Kindulas]

[[[Someone interrupted their sleep cycle part way through]]]

[Kindulas]

Pouting, Erin frowns and says "No cupcakes? Awww." She then coughs, straightens up and says "do you want to reverse engineer me?" With a matter of fact voice.

"Umm... hm......wouldn't mind figuring out how you work... Well let's focus on food right now."

[Nehiel Mori]

"Okay! Because I don't really know what reverse engineering means!" Erin says, and walks off towards the kitchen.

[Kindulas]

When Erin and Jess leave the room, they find Volker waiting in Jess's lab

[Nehiel Mori]

"Hi Volker! How are you doing?" Erin asks with a smile. She bounces about the room; looking at all of the shiny things.

[Lapis-Lazily]

"I'm just fine, thank you. And how are you doing?"

[Nehiel Mori]

"Pretty good! I slept with Jessica last night and after woking up today stole her clothing and sang to her! Now I'm looking for shiney things." Erin says, snooping about the room. ((10 to perception))

I will find ALL the shineys... no matter where you hid them Jessica... Erin thinks to herself.

[Lapis-Lazily]

"Jessica, if you wouldn't mind, I was hoping you might have an invention that could suit me."

[Kindulas]

"If I don't, I might be able to whip one up!" Jess says, ignoring Erin's accidental and embarrassing use of a colloquialism.

[Nehiel Mori]

"Don't forget I want a shiney thing as well!" Erin says.

[Kindulas]

"Of course."

[Lapis-Lazily]

"I was thinking of something that might help me channel and store the life force I gather. As it is, I myself am the only storage vessel I possess for the life I take."

[Kindulas]

"Hm," Jess strokes her chin. "That... maybe Sebastian's soulgems could be repurposed. White and black mana are a little bit out of my area, but then I've used ghosts as a power source before."

[Nehiel Mori]

Erin looks between the two, the conversation entirely going over her head, and she goes off to look for the kitchen.
