Volker continues to stare around him and, without looking at Vash replies,

"Yes, how astute of you to notice. I find it nice to sit out on a beautiful night like this. Helps to clear my head of idle thoughts, much better than laying in bed haunted by visions of the past. You're lucky in a way. The one you hate most has been dead for a long time. She may have returned, but she'll find a way back to the grave, of that I have no doubt. I, on the other hand, have to live with the one I hate most. No matter how much I do, he'll live for as long as I."

[Kindulas]

Vash chuckles. "Believe me, I'm not a big fan of myself either, but if you live long enough you might be able to do more good than you ever did harm. A daunting prospect sure, but I like to think I've got enough time ahead of me."

[Lapis-Lazily]

"Despite my initial reaction to you, I do believe we are alike in many respects. Certainly not in personality or fighting style, but in the way that we both have a past to make up for, and a seemingly infinite amount of time to repay. The question that keeps me up at night though is "Can I repay my debt? Will I ever redeem myself?" The answer always seems to be no. Countless people have died at my hands, and I certainly took pleasure from it at one point. How does man who's committed such atrocities undo the harm? I can't answer that."

[Kindulas]

"Well you can't 'undo' the harm, but we do what we can. And what does it mean to be "redeemed" anyway? Redeemed in whose eyes? Society? Probably not, but possibly. Ourselves? Maybe. The people we killed? Never. But what's the point of wondering? For the crimes we committed, no one cares about fancy concepts like "redemption," all that matter to the world is that we do good deeds now. We just keep doing what we can; that's all that matters."

[Lapis-Lazily]

"Wise words from a reckless man. It may be that all we can do is good, but that still won't make the nightmares stop. Perhaps redemption does not matter to you, but I feel I must redeem myself in my own eyes before I can move on. It is a matter of principle and importance to me."

[Kindulas]

"Well principle is something I've had to teach myself, so I've only got a rudimentary grasp on it."

[Lapis-Lazily]

"Indeed. I've always been a man of principle, even if those principles were skewed. The problem is, principles don't equate to morality. Even evil has standards. Well, most evil. Some, such as the Rakdos, just don't care to even bother with that."

[Kindulas]

"No, they really don't. At any rate, I'm glad we've found some common ground - now, I need to get back on patrol." With that, Vash vanishes.

[Lapis-Lazily]

Volker goes back to his room and rests until 10:00 am. When he wakes, he heads to Jess's lab to see what may be there. Seeing as she is not there, he grabs something to eat and waits in the lab for Jess to wake up.

Erin goes to MEANWHILE like the DM told her to.

Erin enters the kitchen and finds Jeeves organizing things. "Ah, Erin, how are you doing?"

[Nehiel Mori]

"Pretty good! Just lookin' for something to snack on!" Erin says and begins to hum her song while she searches about the room. "Jessica is building shiny things with Volker but my stomach got the rumbles that only ha- food can satisfy.""

[Kindulas]

"Well, would you like a cupcake?" Jeeves says, pointing to a eloquent plate of cupcakes. "I baked these to congratulate your performance last night."

[Nehiel Mori]

Erins eyes open up wide at the cupcakes; full of curiousity at this strange new thing. "Cupcakes? What are... cupcakes?" She asks, and wanders over to the delicious treat. She picks it up with one hand and inspects the cupcake closely before taking a small nibble.

Her face lights up with joy as the taste of the cupcake hits her tounge and soon she shoves the rest of the cupcake down. Once its finished she shouts out "THIS IS TOTALLY AWESOME."

[Kindulas]

"I'm glad you enjoy them," Jeeves responds, rubbing his ear.

[Nehiel Mori]

"You call these godly things... cup cakes? CUPCAKES ARE MY GOD." Erin shouts, then grabs Jeeves in a big bear hug. "JEEVES, YOU ARE AMAZING."

[Kindulas]

"Why thank, Erin. I do my best."

[Nehiel Mori]

Erin twiddles her thumbs.
"Sooo... What do we do now?"

[Kindulas]

"You should probably get something more heartily nutritious to eat; I'll fix you something."

[Nehiel Mori]

"Okay! Thank you Mr. Butler!" Erin says, and sits there twiddling her thumbs.

[Kindulas]

[[Jeeves serves breakfast]]

[Nehiel Mori]

[[Erin eats breakfast]]

[Nehiel Mori]

((don't really know what you want me to do with a descriptive less serving of breakfest))

Erin thanks Jeeves for breakfest, and heads towards the door out of the facility.

I wonder what is outside? There could be so many things that I don't know about! It'll be an adventure!

[Kindulas]

[[I apologize, I was tired but hadn't posted in awhile and thought "let's just speed through that]]

"My dear, I must suggest you not go out alone - while I trust you can defend yourself, we do not want ourselves discovered," Jeeves says.

[Nehiel Mori]

"But... but..." Erin starts to pout; becoming visible upset, before yelling out loud "ADVENTURE TIME!" and making towards the door again.

[Kindulas]

[[Well, she's making for the stairs up]]
"If it's an adventure you want, at least don't go alone. You wouldn't want to abandon poor Jessica, would you Erin?" Jeeves asks.

[Nehiel Mori]

Erin stops and thinks to herself for a moment. "You know... you are right!" she says to Jeeves, nodding and running back into the building. "JESSICA! WE ARE GOING ON AN ADVENTURE!" She says, and begins to hunt down the cyborg lady.

Jeeves merely chuckles to himself as Erin dashes of to THE MAIN ADVENTURE THREAD
